BENETEAU First 60

For nearly 50 years, every FIRST has been created with a singular ambition: to offer a place where the sailor’s own heartbeat falls into the rhythm of the wind and the waves. As the largest First ever built, the FIRST 60 is designed for sailors who seek those rare moments—those who value intensity, precision at the helm, and the satisfaction of fine-tuning every detail. Crafted with them and for them, the FIRST 60 unites performance, elegance, and simplicity, made to let its crew savour joy, second after second, underway.

Exterior Design
The first thing you notice when approaching the FIRST 60 is her sleek profile, perfectly balancing the artistry and engineering behind this sophisticated machine. Everything has been pared back to the essentials, leaving only the elegant, timeless lines of Lorenzo Argento. As you draw closer, the simple yet highly refined sailing systems reveal themselves—components that allow the owner to interact with the yacht seamlessly and with precision. For those aboard who wish to enjoy nature and good company, the cockpit provides dedicated, comfortable spaces to fully savor the experience.

Interior Design
The interior of the FIRST 60 offers a spacious, refined layout, with every detail designed to enhance the pleasure of life at sea. Below deck, a cosy dining area faces the owner’s corner, complete with a generous navigation table and sofa. The full-beam galley, with its elongated worktop and integrated storage, ensures effortless efficiency under sail. A standout feature is the owner’s cabin, which boasts a large walk-around, forward-facing bed, abundant natural light, and calming views of the sea.

BENETEAU First 30

The new BENETEAU First 30 is a celebration of performance, comfort, and innovation—a perfect fit for the next generation of sailors. She delivers the sensation of planing, easy handling, safety and cruising comfort – a unique combination of qualities befitting the modern successor to the legendary 1977 First 30.

Few sensations compare to the moment when a sailboat begins to plane—an exhilarating “lift-off” as the boat breaks free from the chains of displacement speed. Until now, this experience required advanced sailing skills. However, with the all-new BENETEAU First 30, the joy of planing becomes effortless and accessible to all, whether you’re an experienced racer or a newcomer to sailing.

The deck and generously sized cockpit layout were designed with two goals: minimizing clutter to create a spacious and comfortable chill-out area while ensuring outstanding sailing ergonomics. Two cockpit layouts are available: one for day sailors and cruisers and another for racers. In the cruising layout, the mainsail bridle and German sheet system enable the cockpit floor to be completely clean while allowing easy control of the mainsail through generously sized winches.

The racing layout adds a mainsail traveller with a direct and fine-tuning mainsheet system, creating a familiar workspace for racing sailors.

BENETEAU First 44

The BENETEAU First 44 is available in two main setups, a standard, and a performance option. A natural link between the First 36 and the First 53, the BENETEAU First 44 delivers a refined approach to performance, elegance, and comfort.

The standard version distinguishes itself with a convivial and comfortable cockpit, wherein wide side-decks converge towards a lovely cockpit table. Four winches, a fixed centerline block for the mainsheet, and a mast that is set further aft all maximize the potential of her modern sail plan, defined by a slender mainsail and generously sized foresails. The performance version offers equipment and systems that are totally geared towards racing, among which should be mentioned the non-skid foam surfaces that replace the teak on the cockpit sole, six well-placed winches, and a conventional mainsail traveller.

Her three cabin, two head layout offers spacious living including seating for six around a transversal table opposite the couch and nav station.

BENETEAU First 36

The BENETEAU First 36 has a mission to bridge the gap between high-tech development in the world of racing and mainstream racer-cruisers. To be specific, even the standard version of First 36 will fully plane in a moderate breeze. However, this by itself was not the main challenge for the design and production teams. For 40 years, the Firsts were successfully hitting the elusive sweet spot between comfort, performance, utility, elegance, high-tech construction, and reasonable price. The First 36 is no different. The First 36 is optimized for short-handed sailing, making her perfect for the ever-more-popular short-handed adventure distance races. Her very high sail area/displacement ratio and balanced nautical design make her a top performer as a club racer, a safe and fun family cruiser, or simply a thrilling daysailer.

First 27 SE

The BENETEAU First 27 SE promises a thrilling and pure sailing experience. She sources her performance from a modern hull design and a light but stiff vacuum-infused hull construction. She has a hull with very high initial stability, a deep lead-bulb keel, an easily handled carbon rig, and a large square-top mainsail without a backstay or runners. Smart cockpit ergonomics and a balanced twin-rudder steering system all empower her sailors to handle her with confidence. No matter if you’re sailing solo, double-handed, or fully crewed, the First 27 SE will reward you with an astonishing sailing experience and pure joy under the sail. The First 27 SE is the only Category B trailerable 27ft boat on the market with a fully functional interior.

First 24 SE

The BENETEAU First 24 SE is a modern high-tech sport cruiser, capable of delivering thrilling performance in a versatile package that is easy to use and maintain. She is of course trailerable, and her smart mast-raising system allows a single user to launch and go, giving her access to a wide variety of cruising and racing grounds, from international one-design regattas to coastal adventure races. And at the end of the day, she will welcome you with a basic but smart interior, offering all basic cruising amenities for four people. No matter the mode, she is a pure sailing sensation.

First 18 SE

The BENETEAU First 18 SE is a modern and fun gateway to keel-boat sailing. A wide, flat, and stable hull, ballasted swinging keel, gennaker snuffer system, furling jib, and minimized deck controls all facilitate an easy-to-handle yet lively sailing experience. Easily dismantled and trailered, she’ll surely fulfill racing ambitions in international one-design classes as well as adventurous sea-camping.

First 14 SE

The BENETEAU First 14 SE delivers the excitement, speed, and fun of high-performance racing skiffs in a modern, accessible, safe, and easy-to-handle sport dinghy. The build quality and the high-tech materials allow you to push the boat in stronger winds, additional sail area options will also guarantee thrills in even the lightest of airs. Her removable wheels and overall weight – which allow her to be transported on the roof of a car – make it the ideal answer to an active lifestyle.

BENETEAU First 27

The BENETEAU First 27 is unquestionably the fastest and safest cruiser in this size range. Her modern and state-of-the-art design delivers the magic of planing sailing to families, couples, and solo sailors alike, wherever the cruising ground and whatever the weather conditions. A true pocket yacht, she has an inboard Yanmar diesel, a working galley, a real head, and plenty of storage, as well as room for up to six crew members for overnight adventures.

First Yacht 53

The BENETEAU First Yacht 53 took two years to develop and represents the gold standard for performance luxury cruising. The attention to detail and the focus on innovation are evident in all areas of the boat. The cockpit of the First Yacht 53 has been studied in detail to ensure everything is of the greatest ease: the twin helm stations make for free-flowing movement about the cockpit and access to the side decks is completely unimpeded. Near the companionway, there is ample room to relax on the low-slung and cozy cockpit seats. The interior of the First Yacht 53 comes with three cabins and two heads, including a forward-owner cabin. The other option is a layout with three cabins and three heads and a skipper’s cabin. She is bright and well ventilated, with a gently sloping companionway for good communication between the interior and exterior spaces and her service area is easy to access.
