You might call Kevin the competitive sort. He developed a passion for boats as a child on the waters of Cape Cod, and when discovered you could actually race them, it was game on! While a student at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, he was a member of the offshore sailing team. He continues to sail competitively in offshore grand prix races aboard racing sailboats. Kevin was a crew member of the 92’ Super maxi racing yacht Med Sprit that won the Open Division in the Bermuda Race and holds the Open Division record.

Upon graduation from MMA, Kevin served as an oil tanker deck officer and in his off time, was a captain aboard various motor and sailing yachts. When he came ashore he worked as the New England representative for Lewmar Marine, selling winches and deck hardware for ships and custom race boats. Kevin uses his USCG Master Mariner license to deliver boats up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida.
